Cookies are good when watching TV shows and movies on a DVD player. It is also nice to eat them while reviewing for an exam and reading books. More often, cookies are food to ease boredom.
It only carries a light impact on our stomach because it does not have much carbohydrate. But, most cookies that we eat have high sugar content. It may be light but it unnoticeably adds weight especially when we eat a lot.
Nevertheless, you do not have to worry because here is a recipe that takes good care of your sugar intake. Sugar free chocolate cookies are intended for all ages especially for people who are conscious with their figures.
What do you need?
- ½ cup of finely chopped pecans or walnuts
- ½ cup of bottled wheat germ
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- ½ teaspoon of vanilla
- ¼ cup of butter
- ¼ cup of evaporated milk (canned)
- 1 tablespoon sweetener (10 liquid)
What are you going to do?
Combine butter and milk in a small saucepan. Heat them up in low fire until butter is melted. Add vanilla and sweeter. Stir and mix them well. Add cocoa powder and stir until it is dissolved.
Remove mixture from heat. Then, add chopped nuts and wheat. Mix them together very well.
Prepare waxed paper on a tray. Drop desired amount on it. Refrigerate cookie mixture. Teaspoonful size makes around one dozen of cookies.
