If you are suffering from diabetes or just want to avoid the deadly carbs to maintain your figure, sugar-free desserts are heaven-sent for you. Not only sugars make you fat and gets you prone to diabetes, studies have shown that it can also worsen cholesterol levels. In a study by Rachel Johnson in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), they figured that folks who ingested “the largest amounts of added sugar had the highest blood triglyceride levels and the lowest HDL (good) cholesterol levels”. In the same study, the authors also suggested that “eating lots of sugar more than tripled the odds of having low HDL cholesterol levels”, making you a strong candidate for heart disease.

In most cultures, eating desserts are fun and these food stuffs are mostly loved by children around the world. However, did you know that too much sweet is unhealthy, just as the JAMA study mentioned above? Just a friendly reminder: too much of what we eat is not safe at all. It could cause many different illnesses to our body and mostly it could create severe case of diseases.

Here is my simple recipe for you to ease your cravings of sweets. This is blended with a natural sugar that is good for your health. Take note and have fun cooking with my best ever recipe intended for a conscious person like you. This recipe is called Diabetic-friendly Chocolate Cheese Cake. This is done by preparing your ingredients like one package sugar-free graham crushed crackers; one third cup reduced calorie margarine already melted for ready to use; one fourth ground cinnamon; one pack unflavored gelatin; one cup low fat milk or non-fat milk; cream cheese softened; two teaspoon vanilla extract; granulated sugar; unsweetened cocoa and sugar-free wafer bar. All you have to do is to combine the first three ingredients that you have prepared like graham, margarine and cinnamon and stir well. Press these stirred ingredients in the bottom of the round pan or square baking pan. Bake it for eight minutes only.

Removed the baking pan in the oven after eight minutes and let cool for a while. Then sprinkle gelatin over milk in a saucepan and set aside also for one minute. Cook in a low heat until gelatin dissolves in the milk for about two minutes and let it cool again. Beat cream cheese using an electric beater until creamy. Add the vanilla and continue beating. Then, add the gelatin mixture that you had prepared and continue beating until becomes smooth. Add the sugar substitute like granulated sugar and cocoa and beat until it blends. Pour these mixtures in your prepared graham crust a while ago. Cover it and chill for at least eight hours until all ingredients are set. Top with chopped wafers. While waiting for your cheese cake to set, you could do household chores to have an exercise. After your household chores, check your cake in your fridge if it is ready. Wow, your favorite Diabetic-friendly cheese Cake is already done. You could already enjoy the sweetness of natural ingredients from this kind of cheese cake and this is a delicious kind of dessert for a diabetic or non-diabetic person. You could also prepare this kind of recipe for your whole family. I am sure they will love this kind of dessert blended with love and natural sweetness.
