Do you want to have a sweet yet healthy breakfast?
Breakfast always is a very important meal of the day. But some are skipping breakfast because of busy schedules and just have meals as brunch or during lunch time. If you do not want to have that heavy breakfast, you can always choose to have that light breakfast, but a healthy one.
Wheat Cookies
Things to prepare: 1 tbsp water, ½ tsp baking soda, ½ cup raisins, 2 tbsp wheat gem, 1/3 cup any cooking oil, 200 grams brown sugar substitute, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 egg, ½ tsp baking powder, ¼ cup wheat flour, 1 cup wheat flake cereal
What you need to do:
Chop the raisins and keep aside.
Take a bowl and put in all the ingredients, one after the other. Mix thoroughly.
Towards the end, add in baking soda in a little water and mix with the above mixture.
When you see small bubbles starting to form, stir the mixture very well, so that the mixture is well-blended.
After blending, pour it in small lumps on a greased cookie sheet. Flatten them.
Bake the poured mixture into an oven with 350°F temperature.
Bake for eight to twelve minutes.
Apple Carrot Cake
Things to prepare: 4 tbsp orange juice, 2 eggs, 1 tsp grated orange peel, 1 cup silvered walnuts, 2 cups self-rising flour, ½ cup butter, 1 tsp cinnamon powder, 1 cup grated and peeled carrot, 2 cups grated and peeled apples, 2/3 cups raisins
What you need to do:
Preheat oven at 350°F.
Cream the butter. Add cinnamon powder to it.
Slowly, add the self-rising flour to the above mixture.
After this, one by one put in the egg and all the grated ingredients. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
Add the orange juice. Mix all of the ingredients and the mixture very well until well-blended.
Pour the mixture into the greased oven dish.
Bake the mixture for about one hour and fifteen minutes.
